Hey guys! Last month’s Fabletics VIP haul was so good that I just had to write a post on it even though we are now in the month of August. The sale that was going on when I purchased these items is one of the reasons I love Fabletics. The sales they have can be so good and really lets you get the most for your money. The savings on this haul is even bigger than the one I posted for June 2018! I also picked out a couple pieces that I wouldn’t normally and am excited to try things that are out of my comfort zone. As a reference for when I am talking about how the clothes fit me I am 5′ 5″ and wear a size 2 and size Small. My body shape is a rectangle and I have broad shoulders.
I used fabric pins and tape to straighten out the clothes in some of the pictures to better show their true shape since I hang them up for my pictures instead of laying them flat on the floor. Also still fine tuning my lighting and setup.
The Fabletics VIP membership program is a program that allows you to save up to 50% off retail prices on Fabletics clothing and earn 2 points for every dollar you spend that can go toward free loyalty items. Once you have earned 1,000 points in a 12 month period you become a gold member and earning 2,000 points during a 12 month period of time will move you to elite member status. Each level gives you more benefits like a surprise birthday gift or invitations to private in-store events. When you join you will be charged $49.95 on the 6th of each month which you can put towards a purchase or save it for later. You have the option of skipping a month as well if you do so by the 5th of the month. After you become a member you are also given a invitation link that can be used to earn credit toward purchases on the website. The link is customizable which is neat.
My invitation link is at the bottom of this post if you are interested in joining. An invitation link is not required for you to join. It just helps me in making these posts. Thanks! Now let’s get into the good stuff!
The Penny tank is made with Fabletics’ signature high-performance jersey that is moisture-wicking and has an all-way stretch. The cut is fitted and has a hip length hem. The open keyhole back adds a cute touch that I love. Fabric blend is 88% polyester and 12% elastane. Only comes in the color black.
The material of this tank top felt soft and isn’t super thin so things aren’t going to show through as easily. As far as the fit, I’m fine built so this top wasn’t very fitted on me and the hem hit below my hips since I have a shorter waist but overall I think it’s a comfortable top.

The Dash romper is made with lightweight Silk Touch fabric that is supposed to have the drape and feel similar to silk. It has mesh details along the neckline as well as multi straps and button closure in back. The fit is relaxed with a 2 5/8″ inseam. The fabric is 100% polyester with 75gsm mesh. Only comes in the rainforest print/black.
This romper was the first item I picked that is out of my comfort zone. When I tried it on I definitely noticed the relaxed fit and the straps were a little bit long for me. The shorts portion of this romper wasn’t to short which I appreciate. Also like that it has elastic stitched into the waist so you get some definition there. The material is comfortable and light without being see through.

Evelyn Maxi Dress
Lastly is the Evelyn maxi dress which features a built-in bra with removable cups, spaghtetti straps with a strappy back, and a 53″ inseam. The jersey fabric is very stretchy, breathable and semi-fitted. Fabric blend is 94% viscose and 6% elastane. Dress comes in heather grey and black. The back of the built-in bra is unique so I included some more pictures below.
This is the second item that is out of my usual comfort zone because of the low back. The strappy back caught my eye and I really wanted to try it out. The fabric is so soft and has really good stretch. It is an inch or so to long but that is a problem I have with most of the maxi dresses I’ve tried. I had to adjust the horizontal strap in the back to help keep the neckline from gaping to much when I leaned over which is something to consider if you are very small chested. I’m going to try swaping out the cups that came with the dress for ones that are in one of my bralettes to see if that helps. Still in love with this dress and look forward to wearing it.
Retail Price: $84.95
VIP Price: $54.95
Sale Price: $9.58
Total cost breakdown
Shipping and tax: $8.52
Total cost: $45.99
Total savings: $177.38
This order would have cost me $214.85 without tax and shipping if I didn’t have a VIP membership and hadn’t taken advantage of the sales that they were having. All of the clothes I’ve purchased from this brand have been comfortable and good quality so I highly recommend them!
Next post will be on the August 2018 LiveGlam MorpheMe subscription so stay tuned.
